HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM
Gilgit-Baltistan Police has launched an online application (HRMIS) to maintain service history of employees from BPS-1 to BPS-16 in first phase of Automation Project. After introduction of this system in establishment section, paper-based file work has been minimized. This application covers employees personal data, including postings/transfers, rewards, punishment, and many more. The application, HRMIS operational in three Regional Police Offices, ten districts and in units of Gilgit-Baltistan. Posting transfer and other orders are discouraged to issue through manual/traditional approached and directed all concerned offices to generate orders through this application to bring transparency and accuracy in record. Beauty of the system is to ensures verification of system generated posting transfer orders through QR code and indicate fake posting/transfer orders for internal accountability of officers and officials. Performance of employees can be assessed through system generated good and bad entries. In order to streamline the process of transformation of traditional official business into an online transparent system, Standard Operating Procedures have been devised and shared with concerned officers for implementation in letter and spirit.
