Police Laison Council

According to the vision of Inspector General of Police Gilgit-Baltistan Muhammad Saeed Wazir, Police Liaison Council was formed in all the districts for long lasting and cordial relations between the police and the people. Good women among women were included in the city council after scrutiny. Members of Parliament have been sworn in by forming councils in all the districts of Gilgit-Baltistan. The purpose of forming the Police Liaison Council is to strengthen the implementation of the Police and Public Police Commission communication process and strengthen public order efforts.

The establishment of police liaison councils will eliminate crime from the society. The public will be kept informed of the activities of the police. With the cooperation of the members of the council, small issues will be resolved through mutual understanding at the police station and neighborhood level. It also aims to ensure public participation and co-operation in various campaigns for interfaith harmony and keeping the society drug-free.
