It is an IT initiative of Gilgit-Baltistan to transform manual official business through technological interventions. Aim of this transformation of official business is to facilitate general public by developing a standard mechanism to ensure transparency, efficiency and internal accountability.
Gilgit-Baltistan Police has successfully rolled out different projects. Among them, “Automation of GB Police” is one of the most important project under which many online applications started for public service delivery. Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS), Complaint Management System (CMS), Police Station Record Management System (PSRMS), Criminal Record Management System (CRMS), Hotel Eye, Police Khidmat Marakiz (PKM) and Driving License Management Information System (DLMIS) etc are main applications made functional in Gilgit-Baltistan in collaboration with Punjab Information Technology Board, Lahore.
