Ibex squad is a scheme launched by the government of Gilgit-Baltistan in the light of recommendations of Gilgit-Baltistan Police under which 220 new motorcycles have been provided to Gilgit-Baltistan Police. The main objective of Ibex Squad is to make the process of faster patrolling and more efficient by providing immediate assistance to the people and improving the anti-crime process. In all the districts of Gilgit-Baltistan, Ibex Squad has been formed under the defined SOPs to ensure fulfillment of basic objectives like full monitoring of security process in the premises, immediate and timely assistance to the people and effective and dynamic patrols for crime prevention.
